This course is the perfect way to start your journey in becoming the protector you want to be for your family and yourself.

After this course we highly reccommend continuing your family protector journey with our Handgun Skills Develpment Phase 1 course.

Primary Focus:

This course is designed for anyone looking to obtain their Virginia Concealed Handgun Permit.

Phase 1 consists of 3-4 hours of classroom instruction.

Phase 2 consists of 3 hours of LIve Fire Instruction with our Lead Instructor Jim.

This class emphasizes the fundamentals of pistol shooting and is aimed towards getting new shooters acclimated to a defensive mindset.

Be sure when signing up to use the name you would like to appear on your certificate.

This is a Live Fire Course. In the interest of safety if you have none or very little experience handling a handgun/pistol, we suggest taking a 1 on 1 private course with our Instructor first prior to attending this course.

7 hours 9am-4pm

Location: Your class will start at the Middletown Fire Department located at 7855 Main St, Middletown, VA 22645. After lunch we will proceed to the range located at 650 Water Plant Road.

*Holsters are not mandatory for this course as we will be conducting live fire from ready positions.

-150 rounds of ammunition minimum (welcome to bring more)

Attire: No open toed shoes. No low cut or V neck shirts. Brimmed ball caps are recommended.
